How to Get an Ally Bank Transaction History
If you need a detailed record of your Ally Bank account activity (different from an official monthly statement), you can easily download your transaction history online. This can be useful for budgeting, financial reviews, or providing documentation for your mortgage application.
Follow this step-by-step guide to download and print your Ally Bank transaction history.
Downloading Transaction History from Ally Bank Online
1. Log In to Ally Online Banking
Go to ally.com and click the Log In button. Enter your username and password to access your account.
2. Select Your Account
Once logged in, you should see the dashboard. From your dashboard, choose the account for which you want to download activity.
3. Access Transaction History
Scroll down to the Transaction History section of the account page.
4. Choose a Date Range
Under the Transaction History section, select the date range you need.
(Tip: If you’re not sure what dates to use, ask your UnrealFi loan advisor and we’ll guide you.)
5. Print to PDF
Once the date range is applied, right-click on the page and choose Print.
6. Save as PDF
When the printer preview window appears, change the destination to Save as PDF (or “PDF” depending on your browser), then click Print.
Your transaction history will now be saved to your device as a PDF file.
Additional Notes
- Custom Dates: Depending on your account, you may be able to filter transactions by date range before downloading.
- File Formats: CSV is best for spreadsheets and easy sharing. QFX is designed for Quicken users.
- Help Options: If you have trouble accessing your transaction history online, you can contact Ally customer support for assistance.
