1. Sign in to Your Shellpoint Account
Go to the Shellpoint website and log in with your username and password.
2. Complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
For security, Shellpoint will text you a verification code. Click Send Code to receive it. If you’re using your personal device, you can also choose to skip 2FA for the next 30 days.
3. Select the Correct Loan
After logging in, you’ll see a list of your loans. If you have more than one, find the correct loan and click Account Details next to it.
4. Go to the Payments Section
From the loan details page, open the Payments section and select Request Payoff.
5. Choose “Formal Payoff Quote”
In the middle of the screen, you’ll see two tabs. Select Formal Payoff Quote.
6. Enter Your Payoff Date
You’ll be asked to enter a payoff date. To make sure this is accurate, check with your UnrealFi loan officer or processor before filling it in.
7. Select Payoff Reason and Delivery Type
For Payoff Reason, select Refinancing. For Delivery Type, choose Web – this ensures your payoff quote will be available online immediately.
8. Submit Your Request
Once everything is entered, click Submit. Your payoff quote will be generated and should automatically download to your device as a PDF.
9. Review and Send to UnrealFi
Open the PDF and carefully double-check the details. Once you’ve confirmed everything looks correct, send the file to your UnrealFi loan advisor.
